Freestone section of the Quillen River

The Quillen river is a small spring creek like stream and also has a "canyon stretch " that is more "freestone"( in photo above) than spring creek, something for everyone. The entire river has wonderful dry fly fishing. Rainbow and brown trout (14-23) inches, good accommodations with super vistas! There are two other small creeks on this huge ranch, in addition to fishing the lake for large rainbows. Many options, within an hours drive , lot's of other rivers and creeks for those who enjoy to explore!

Estancia Collon Cura

The famous Collon Cura River

This is the head quarters for the float trips, on the very productive Collon cura river. The floats are all day, with a picnic lunch, or , a asado (bar-b-q). Mainly streamer fishing, with some dry fly, and good nymph fishing.(14-24) inch rainbows and browns are numerous. This is a great alternative for those who do not wish to walk and wade fish all week, and, catch a ton of fish.

Estancia Filo Hua Hum

The little "Gem", Filo Hua Hum River.

The Filo hua hum is a small freestone river with some very large trout. It's the only lodge on the river (no crowds here). Large brown, and rainbow trout, with some landlocked Atlantic salmon inhabit this little gem. Big flies, mouse patterns, and foam -rubber legged flies work best. Nice new cabins, great food and wines, remote untouched waters. One needs to be able to walk and wade here, not for the "out of shape". This river does have some very large trout!
